Fibers

I didn't immediately love fibers and felt overwhelmed by a new sewing machine, but after I took my first fibers class at CSU, there was no going back. Since then I have explored making patterns and self-drafting clothing (usually always doing a mix of both to customize), doing conceptual pieces for my Capstone, and fell in love with quilting. Sewing is such a great medium for finding second hand material, from bed sheets, tablecloths, blankets, or estate sale fabric hoards, fabric is incredibly easy to come by second-hand.
