Full transparency, finding a sustainable way to paint is challenging. I always thrift my frames, yeah, partially for affordability, but also to find quality materials that just need a freshen-up. I am a sucker for a solid wood frame whether it be painted, stained or natural. I usually use loose canvas so I have more freedom with finding the perfect frame to match the recipient of my painting.
